Project description
Living The Dream Unlimited partnered with Dim Mak Collection and Williamson PR for the North American pre-launch of their, "Noize" clothing line. At The Seventh Letter Gallery in Los Angeles, LTDU created an opportunity for Dim Mak to display their Fall '16 collection while also paying homage to the visions and sounds that first inspired the Dim Mak label and it's founder, Steve Aoki. First, the LTDU scenic team transformed a 44 by 15 foot wall and 75 white DMC T shirts into a blank canvas where the LA street artist, Drew Merritt, could execute his vision. The final product was a dramatic floor to ceiling mural that had guests in awe when the artist used a fire extinguisher to complete the piece in front of the live audience.
Results.
With a little bit of LTDU magic, the gallery was transformed again into an adrenaline fueled concert featuring originators of the New York Hardcore scene, Gorilla Biscuits. LTDU then launched the final incarnation of this event by transforming the gallery into a pop-up shop where members of the public could purchase pieces from the line, as well as the 75 unique T shirts bearing portions of Drew's mural.
